Gather your family, blankets, and lawn chairs and join us for a new parade each day of the festival. Don’t forget to bring a bag for candy!
2020 Theme: “Honoring 126 Years of Service: Wilber Fire and Rescue”
The Children’s Parade is Friday night at 7:00 pm. The parade route will go East down 3rd Street starting at School Street and ending at Main Street.
Pre-registration is encouraged and greatly appreciated. Pre-register by calling Mary Homolka 402.826.7194 or Kay Sukovaty 402.821.2429. Leave name, category, town you are from, age and phone number.
Categories will be Best Czech-Dressed Girl, Best Czech-Dressed Boy, Bicycles/Tricycles/Wagons/Buggies, Miscellaneous (motorized and pets), Groups (three or more and may include an adult) and Floats. Judging will be done on the use of the Czech colors – red, white, and blue; Czech dress (not an entry requirement but will receive extra consideration in judging); and the development of the year’s theme. Parade assembly will be promptly at 6:00 pm at the Dvoracek Memorial Library parking lot.
The Grand Parade begins at 2:00 pm both Saturday & Sunday. Parade forms in Legion Park at 12:30 p.m. and follows the arrowed route.
